I grew up in the abandoned sectors of New York City. We were raised poor, and I learned a lot because of that. Society has deemed it acceptable to label, and oversimplify my bastardized, unwanted, and abandoned people as Hispanic or Latino, but I prefer to be acknowledged as what I really am; a human before anything else. That means that I don’t wave any flags, or claim any race or culture but if you must know, I’m half Salvadorian, a quarter Puerto Rican, and a quarter mystery meat. The people I identify with the most are those who inherit little or no opportunities in life. My childhood was the 90’s: Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, Ring Pops, Socker Boppers, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Sega Genesis, Super NES, Sister Sister, Fresh Prince, Martin, Jerry Springer, Spice Girls, Carson Daly, Rap City, the Thong Song, Nas, Rudy Julianne, Bill Clinton, tokens, waiting in line to play Street Fighter II or Mortal Kombat at the Bodega, two slices and a Snapple for $2.50 or $2.75, etc.  I started rapping in High School. I used to download beats off the internet and rap to them with my friends. My first studio session was in Harlem. My boy Migz eventually donated the funding to help me buy my own recording equipment because it was too expensive to keep paying for studio sessions. I joined a political organization that used Hip Hop as a way to bring resources to black and brown communities. I met a lot of well known rappers through the organization and some became my mentors. I became an activist for a few years before I took on music full time. My first open mic performance was in Brooklyn. I performed more and more until I went on a few tours. I have some fans now and I plan on having a lot more. By the way, I think the word “fan” is derogatory and disrespectful towards my enthusiasts and supporters. I believe that together, my supporters and I need to work as hard as we can to make Final Outlaw into a fully operational success. A few more things you should know about me: I treat others the way I’d like to be treated and take that very seriously. I am an autodidact and place extremely high value on autonomy. I don’t like categories or labels. I rather someone believe in me, than believe me. I’ve moved around a lot all my life, but was raised in New York City for the most part. I haven’t followed sports since I was a child. Video games are relaxing to me. I miss jerk chicken.  I avoid eating meat and junk food but desire to do so often. I think about exercising more than I actually do it. A person’s character is of paramount importance to me. Freedom over fame & fortune is my law. Loyalty and honor are important to me. I correct myself and self-criticize very often. I believe I have a hand in healing people at times, and that heals me. It annoys me when “I” is used too much in writing, and I’m definitely guilty of that right now. We all can work a little harder on our honesty, and I believe it is a goal totally worthy of pursuit. I’m very far from perfect, and I accept that. I consider myself a sinner. I look forward to continue working on correcting and healing my values and flaws. I’m not religious and I don’t consider politics reality. I believe in God, but it isn’t your God. My theories on what God is are very layered. I have received messages and signs from the universe around me at many crossroads and unusually-convenient times, and that drives me to continue seeking a better understanding of the God phenomenom. You should ask me what I think God is. I love my family – they are the most important people to me. I am the 99%. I want to help the world and I am in my own way.Final Outlaw
